Responsibilities

Prepare lodge for Aurora Viewing
Serve Beer and Wine
Assist Guests when required
Keep steps and decks clear of snow
Keep lodges clean including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash cans.
Help enforce Ski Land company policies regarding guests

Qualifications
At least 21 years old
Ability to stand and move around for at least 8 hours at a time
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate via radio
Adequate clothing and footwear for outdoor winter work in Interior Alaska
Available to the end of April, including Holidays, during a night shift (8pm-2:30am)
Ability to work unsupervised

Ski and Snowboard Rental Technician
Seasonal Nov-April 
Responsibilities

 Greet and assist guests in selecting appropriate ski and snowboard equipment.
Accurately size and adjust bindings, boots, and equipment for guests.
Ensure equipment is well-maintained, clean, and in good working order.
Conduct safe

Responsibilities checks on equipment to ensure it meets industry standards.
Educate guests on proper use and care of equipment.
Process rental transactions and accurately record rental information.
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and offer guidance.
Assist in inventory management and restocking of rental equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in ski and snowboard equipment rental or a related field is a plus.
Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, including bindings, boots, and sizing.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment.
Enthusiasm for winter sports and a desire to share that passion with others.
Must be 18 years or older

Assist customers with inquiries and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus

Groomer/Equipment Operator 
Seasonal Nov-April 
Responsibilities

Operate grooming equipment such as snowcats or snowmachines to groom ski slopes.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on grooming equipment.
Monitor snow conditions and make informed decisions about grooming techniques.
Ensure the safety of guests by maintaining a smooth and well-groomed surface.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate grooming schedules.
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
Maintain records of grooming activities and conditions.
Plow and snow removal as need.

Qualifications

Previous experience in ski slope grooming is preferred.
Proficiency in operating grooming equipment and machinery.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in a mountainous environment in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of ski slope safety practices.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  
Must be 18 years or older

Kitchen Staff (21+) – Lead
Seasonal Nov-April 
Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Preparing and cooking dishes with skill and care.
Serving food to guests with attentiveness and friendliness.
Handling beer and wine service following all legal state and federal  regulations, including holding an Alaska TAP card.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and serving areas.
Assisting with inventory management to determine ordering requirements.
Adhering to safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines while complying with state safety regulations.
Monitoring and maintaining appropriate temperatures of all food items throughout preparation and service.
Setting up and serving food as necessary.
Checking food for appropriate preparation, temperature, and packaging.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to obtain an Alaska TAP® (Training for Alcohol Professionals) card.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe alcohol service.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a small kitchen setting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Lift Attendant

Responsibilities

Safely load/unload guests on the Chairlift or Magic Carpet.
 Deliver exceptional customer service.
Check guest tickets and passes.
Keep the loading/unloading areas free of obstructions.
Answer guest questions about Ski Land.
Help keep the deck and lodges clear of snow.
Empty trash cans.
Perform daily pre and post operational checks.

 Requirements

18 years or older.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand outside for long periods.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be available every Friday through Monday until the end of April, including holidays and school breaks.
