Mount Aurora Lodge’s 12 bunkhouse rooms and private log cabin date back nearly 90 years, offering guests an unforgettable experience in the Arctic. Originally built for local gold miners, the rich history of our Cleary Summit property makes their accommodations some of the most unique lodging in Fairbanks, Alaska. While the lodge wears a charming air of years gone by, the amenities are modern, with free Wi-Fi Internet and a free home-cooked hot breakfast daily. As they are on top of the same mountain as Ski Land, they have some of the best Aurora views in all of Fairbanks.

Aurora Borealis Lodge want you to think of them as a vacation rental…your home away from home, which just happens to be located on Cleary Summit, one of the best Aurora viewing spots in the world!  The Aurora Borealis Lodge offers two types of lodging.  The Cedar Lodge offers four private rooms with north facing windows with excellent views of the night sky. Logan’s Chalet is a spacious two-bedroom Alaskan log home with an aurora viewing platform in the front yard. All rooms & the Chalet has its own private kitchen, and private bathroom

Chatanika Lodge is a historical adventure, going back in time with all the Alaskan artifacts on the walls, along with tall tales of the past, shared with some of the customers whom frequent our establishment. The also have a full-service restaurant and bar offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Chatanika Lodge is located a short 15-minute drive from the slopes of Ski Land down the Steese HWY.
