Ski Land 5th Grade Ski Free Program

Ski Land is proud to offer free skiing and riding for 5th graders. This program is designed to get more kids on snow and build a lifelong love for winter in the Golden Heart City.

Who Qualifies

Students ages 10–11 during the 2025–2026 season

Intended for current 5th grade students

Open to students in the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB), including homeschool students

How to Apply

All participants must complete a pre-season application.

Applications require:

Student name and date of birth

Parent or guardian contact information

A photo of the student (used for the pass)

In some cases, Ski Land may request proof of grade level.

What You Get

Approved students will receive a Ski Land 5th Grade Pass valid for the full season.

This is a Ski Land season pass and includes access to lift-served skiing and riding during regular operating hours.

How It Works

Pass must be worn and visible while skiing or riding

Lift staff will check passes visually

No daily ticket required

Important Information

Passes are non-transferable

Lost passes can be replaced for a fee

All Ski Land season pass rules apply

Misuse of the program may result in loss of pass privileges and ineligibility for future programs.
